The Stours Parish Council has a few responsibilities including footpaths, rights of way, bus shelters and recreation grounds.  Dorset Council has many more responsibilities including planning, schools, highways and refuse collection.

 STOUR VALE WALKERS

Our footpath officer, Martin Hibbert, has formed the Stour Vale Walkers which organises monthly walks in the stours and surrounding parishes. All welcome - for information go to the Stour Vale Walkers website or contact Martin on 01747 838272 or stours.footpaths@gmail.com 

 

STOUR PROVOST CRICKET CLUB

MOVIOLA FILM NIGHTS

7 for 7.30pm (bar open from 6.30pm) usually on the last Friday of September, October and November, and January, February and March. For more information, see the village website: east-stour.org.uk.
