HRH Prince Philip

It is with great sadness that The Stours Parish Council acknowledges the announcement from Buckingham Palace that His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh sadly passed away on Friday the 9th of April 2021.  We join with many people around the world in a ten day period of mourning.

For details of Church Services and the schedule for Evening Prayer please see the Stour Vale Benefice website: https://www.stourvalechurches.org.uk/

For the latest announcements and online book of condolence please refer to the official Royal website: The Royal Family

The Stours is a grouped Parish Council, situated in North Dorset and includes the four parishes of East Stour, Stour Provost, Todber and West Stour. The river Stour is a major influence on the four parishes that make up the parish council and from which the council gets its name. The four parishes do, however, have their own unique characteristics - go to 'Our Villages' to find out more.
